After realizing there are no good childcare options, we found the Au Pair Program, and I credit that for helping me get out of burnout, and finding balance with family, work & life.
YES! I actually will have better tips now as the 3rd au pair we got in August reeeeally did not work out and I knew within days so we immediately went into rematch. And this is why it’s been actually tricky to write this fall as much I wanted to with almost no childcare managing other work as well. I wish women in the US had what’s normal in the Nordics: high quality daycare that’s super affordable & that’s part of the education system.

I know I’m super old to this but wondering if you have tips on how to screen for a good one!?
