Just a thought. You have definitely gathered so much information on this journey - and researched thoroughly. And from what I’ve understood from the comments, also the parents in the US would be interested in this kind of parenting / educating. What if you’ll find the right teachers and daycare teachers and start a school? Is that something that is doable in the states? Of course, everyone there would like their kids to get in to an Ivy League university etc., so some might think of this as a human test.

Still find it SO interesting.

Hi Johanna! Imagine - it would be so fascinating to see how kids would develop learning the Nordic way in the US. The American way is to bring your kids up to succeed-my husband would say as much!-and the Scandinavian way is to bring kids up to become independent and to have enough life skills where you can always figure things out and find your own happiness.

And what if the key to success would be to raise children - with a careful thought - kind of both ways? To be outgoing, determined and disciplined as in the US and also mindful, considerate and perhaps a little more independent as in Scandinavia.

Of course one needs to find out what is success after all?

And hey, weirdest things have happened before; someone needs to be the first one and nothing really changes if no-one tries.

I am really interested to see how you figure it all out. Wish you all the best on that journey!
